Associate Professor, Kristianstad University

Susanne is employed at the Faculty of Education—Childhood, Learning and Education. Susanne researches natural science and sustainability among 0–6-year-olds.

Associate professor, University of Gothenburg

Jonna is employed at the Department of Education, Communication and Learning and researches preschool as an arena for education, focusing on science and technology. Together with a colleague, Jonna is also in charge of the research program Policy, Profession, Quality and Children’s Learning in Preschool, Preschool Class, and School-age Educare.

Professor, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences

Marianne is employed at the Department of Sport, Food and Natural Sciences. She researches ecology and sustainability and teaches at the program for educators. Furthermore, Marianne is the head of the research group Education for Sustainability.

Professor of STEM education and science communication, University of Southern Denmark

Connie is employed at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science and is head of the STEM Education Research Center (FNUG). Connie’s research concerns, e.g., didactics in the STEM area, knowledge, experience, and design.

Team leader of Children, Nature, and Environment (BNM), Municipality of Copenhagen

Frank is head of BNM under the auspices of the Department of Sustainable Development, part of the Child and Youth Administration. BNM runs the nature workshop Kløvermarken, used daily by daycare institutions in the municipality.

Janne is the Head of the Center for Better Childhood at the University College Copenhagen.

Janne researches inclusion and exclusion processes in schools and daycare centers, focusing on how pedagogical and didactic practices and interdisciplinary collaboration can support children’s opportunities to participate in educational and didactic activities in interaction with other children.
